During this same time, I began to realize that as a special needs mom myself, I needed to connect with other moms like me. I joined online support groups in hopes of connecting with other moms and getting some answers to my own questions, but what I found instead was groups full of women attacking each other and many more who had so many questions that I already had the answers to.
With a strong desire to help other special needs moms like myself, I founded my first brand, Stronger Mommy. Stronger Mommy was my mission to empower special needs parents to get the resources, services, support and community they needed. In addition to the brand, I created a private Facebook™ Group just for special needs parents, called Stronger Mommies. This group was (and still is today) 100% focuses on support! What I did not realize at the time, was that this group and the way I had naturally structured it, would become the framework and backbone of how I help my clients become the Notable Leaders in their niche today.
In less than 6 months of opening the group, I had already generated over 2,500 members, and had one of the most engaged groups on Facebook™. Because of this rapid growth and the engagement, I was invited to part of the Facebook™ Power Admins (a private invite only group run by Facebook™). With so many engaged members, I also became the Notable Leader in the special needs parenting niche. People I had never met, knew who I was and would come to help them. I also realized that my group had become the ultimate place to warm up my audience and turn them into buyers. As new members joined the group, other members would provide incredible social proof about my character and the programs I offered. For several years I continued to build my Stronger Mommy brand while also learning everything I could about internet marketing, online networking, organic traffic generation, and so much more.
